Bristol Expo

So Bristol comic expo is already over for another year. Was a brilliant weekend! Table sharing with the amazingly talented Nikki Stu, Nanniebim and Will Kirkby. We were sat opposite the very entertaining and lovely chaps that are the Etherington brothers. Those guys are brilliant. Lorenzo had his new sketchbook issue 6 out, limited to just 25 copies, which i managed to nab one of. As usual he sketches inside for you, this was mine!!

We all went to a Japanese restaurant for dinner and then onto a cider bar, where we bumped into Warwick and Robin Etherington and had a great evening. Through out the weekend i met up with some awesome people including Adam Millard (writer of dark zombie stories, can't wait to read some!) Nich Angell (fantastic artwork), Jon Lock (writer of afterlife inc, which looks brilliant, can't wait to read), and finally met Jason Prosser (we met about 2 years ago on deviant art and i can't wait for his game to be up and running!)

This is the haul i brought back with me, lots of goodies! Sketches by the guys from the Aardman stand, a print from Warwick's stand, the amazing Herald Owlett Vol 1 version 2.0 by Nikki Stu, theres some new coloured pages in there so couldn't help but get again! Birdsong (been after that for a while), El sketchbook Lorenzo 6, couple of really cute prints and Thicker than blood signed by Mike Ploog and Simon Bisley!!!

Bristol comic con is coming up shortly! Thought i'd post up a couple of sneaks of what i'll be bringing along with me. As usual i'll have posters, bee books and some walters!! Along with a set of A5 water colour paintings. There will be 5 of each design available. (There's still one more to finish!) I'll be table sharing with the lovely Will, Lou and Nikki.
