Another year!

I can't believe another year has flown by that quick! Next year will mean more cons and exciting things. Ive got my friends book to illustrate, working on the comic with Josh, hopefully some card printing/making and poster designing. Along with some painting, as i got some new canvases for christmas and i haven't done any for ages! I did a montage of some photos off my phone from over the year. Some of them seem so long ago!

Me and Lee!

For some reason i drew a cartoon version of me. Lee also wanted one. So here we are!

Stock of Walters, my book and other bits are now available to buy from Makings & Doings. It is a lovely shop, filled with amazing furniture and beautifully handmade items. The shop is situated in Meads, Eastbourne. If your in the area, check it out!

New comic idea

Me and Josh will hopefully be making a comic together! At the moment it is just a few ideas floating around and Josh has started to bring the story together. I made a start on character sketches etc. This being one i coloured in. Im quite happy with it, still needs a few tweaks. Hopefully i'll get time to sketch over christmas, and have the character designs pinned down.

I will do a post about thought bubble soon! Need to take photos of all the lovely things i got my hands on!!

Book in stock!

Bees

All going well, my book should be with me tomorrow/ wednesday. Which i can't wait to see and means it will be coming to Leeds! I'm doing a little gift with the first 5 books sold from my table at Thought Bubble. If you are 1 of the 5 you will get one of these little bees with the book. I've still got a few bits to sort for it but really looking forward to this weekend!

Book Ordered!

I approved the proof of my book this week and the order is now in for stock. Cant wait to see them. Fingers crossed they arrive next week and in time for Thought Bubble! My posters should be here soon too, which i can't wait to see. While waiting for printed bits to arrive I've been cutting and sewing to build up the stock of eddies and walters to bring along for the trip.

Trying to finish my book this week, hopefully giving it enough time for proof and printing. All going well, it will be ready to take with me to Thought Bubble! Then plenty of other bits to get on with once thats done too!

Sorry things have been a bit quiet. Been busy sorting bits for Leeds and other things. Hopefully be ordering my posters and some badges soon. Will post pics once i've got them done! Also been sewing Walters, which will be back in stock on my folksy store very soon!

Lots of things happening!

The last 2 weeks have been pretty exciting!! I will be producing more copies of my bee book, which will be available to sell. (currently only 3 exist!) My folksy shop opened and this week i sold out of Walters! Along with an extra custom request to do. I had a college interview and if i get accepted i start in September. AND all going to plan i should now be going to Thought Bubble in November and table sharing with the very talented Nikki Stu!! The next month and onwards will be a bit mad finalising my book, and all the bits for Thought Bubble along with a ton of sewing but i'm looking forward to it and can't wait to get started!

Furry!

I've just been having a play around with penciling in fur to give my yeti a bit more texture. I'm quite pleased with the result!

Folksy shop is open!

I've been making a few changes on here recently. There are a couple more happening over the next week or so, but it shouldnt really affect anything. BUT there is now a shiny button for a link to my Folksy shop, which is now up and running with some postcards available! Over the course of the next few days i should have a few more bits up along with some posters to follow in about a month.

Most of this morning i've spent making this guy. For a first attempt i'm really pleased with him! Everything around me and my jeans are now covered in fluff! Might make a few to put in my shop too.

For my soon to be running shop, i needed to design a banner. This was the resulting image. It hasn't taken me too long to make, which was the main aim. But im quite pleased with it. Im hoping i can get a few bits on there in the next month or so, then slowly i will start getting stock of posters and badges to also add on. Off to do more sewing now!

I've been playing about and getting used to illustrator lately. As a result of this, i made this guy. At the moment i'm calling him Steve, i dont know why. I made a new background theme with him too, hope you like it!

While drawing some Halloween colouring in pages for Jones Bootmaker stores to use. I drew a few different costumes for the bear to be. Bat Bear and Ghost Bear were my faves!

Busy!!

Ok so things have been a bit busy lately and on top of that i keep adding to the list!! The main thing to happen in a month (maybe sooner) will be the stock going onto my folksy shop. I'm busy sewing walters and other weird things to go on there. There hopefully will be posters available too, although these may arrive on later due to me needing to decide on where to get them printed! I'd also like to get my bee book available as well. Plus i'm in the early stages of another story to make into a book.
